Healthy Blue transitioned into a strategic relationship with Availity to serve as our electronic data interchange (EDI) partner for all electronic data and transactions. Availity is an independent company that provides a secure portal on behalf of BlueChoice HealthPlan.
Providers, billing services and clearinghouses that are new to the EDI space can register to exchange 27x self-service and 837 claims electronic transactions with Healthy Blue in the Availity Portal.
If you are currently using a billing service or clearinghouse for your EDI transmissions, please work with them to ensure connectivity to the EDI gateway.
Your payer name is Healthy Blue South Carolina, and the payer ID is 00403.
To send claims via the Availity EDI gateway, log in to the Availity Portal.
To register or manage account changes for electronic funds transfer (EFT) only, use EnrollHubâ„¢, a CAQH Solutions® secure EFT registration platform. CAQH Solutions is an independent company that provides a secure EFT registration platform on behalf of BlueChoice HealthPlan. This tool eliminates the need for paper registration, reduces administrative time and costs, and allows you to register with multiple payers at one time.
If you were previously registered to receive EFT only, you must register using EnrollHub to manage account changes. No other action is needed.
You can also use the Availity Portal to register and manage account changes for ERA.
If you were previously registered to receive ERA, you must register using Availity to manage account changes. No other action is needed.
Choose to suppress (or enable) paper remittance vouchers through our Provider Paper Suppression Form.
